Book Award Nomination
Congratulations go to our very own BHAC committee member Dorothy Johnston and local resident!
Well done Dorothy we are proud of you.
We are very pleased to announce that Dorothy’s novel ‘Gerard Hardy’s Misfortune’ has been long-listed for the Sisters in Crime Davitt Award. Way back in the mists of time, the first of Dorothy’s Canberra crime novels, ‘The Trojan Dog’, was runner-up in the inaugural Davitt Award. Then there were relatively few entries. This year there were 124. Women’s crime fiction is powering ahead in Australia.
Good luck Dorothy we can’t wait to see how you go!
