Thank you to the 90+ artists who opened their studios, collective venues and galleries, volunteers and 1000s of art lovers for supporting the 2024 Bellarine Arts Trail!
And a huge THANK YOU to our sponsors for supporting the Arts on the Bellarine – Community Bank Barwon Heads Bendigo Bank, Borough of Queenscliff, Queenscliff Community Market.
With their support, this year we rebranded with a clearly identifiable ‘arts trail blue’ with flags at arts venues and signage at key entry points to the Bellarine. 10,000 trail maps and flyers were distributed on the Bellarine, Geelong & the Surfcoast and digital versions were available online through a linked QR code. Posters were put up everywhere by busy volunteers in Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff. Local media got behind the trail too with a huge feature in the Bellarine Times, Ocean Grove Voice, Surfcoast Time, 94.7 The Pulse, The Geelong Advertiser and a feature in GT Magazine.
This year we implemented a User Generated Content campaign on social media working together with artists to promote the event we vastly extended the promotional reach of the event across FB and Insta and also focused on telling the individual stories of artists working on the Bellarine.
Results Snapshot:
- 1,200 visitors attended the Taste of the Trail Exhibition.
- 15,000 plus visits estimated to 40 arts venues included across the trail
