Participate in the Sunday Printmakers Print Exchange and Help Us to Purchase The First Community Printing Press for the Bellarine
When the Barwon Heads Arts Hub opened in 2022, Patsy Bush and Vicki Strachan started running some community printmaking classes. As numbers grew, the Sunday Printmakers formed in 2025 as an open access community printmaking group meeting on the first Sunday of each month. Numbers continue to grow.
Sunday Printmakers now has the opportunity to purchase a large second-hand etching press in excellent condition for $2,000 (new $6,000-$7,000) which will be housed in the Maker Shed at the Barwon Heads Arts Hub. We understand this will be the first community press located on the Bellarine Peninsula.
To help raise funds to buy the press we are inviting our creative community and supporters to get involved by getting involved in our Sunday Printmakers Print Exchange.
How to Participate
Submit 10 prints and receive a random selection from fellow artists in return.
Works will be available to view and purchase at Bellarine Arts Trail weekend on 1-2 November. You will find the Sunday Printmakers in the Maker Shed in the backyard.
