The Barwon Heads Arts Hub is managed on behalf of the community by the Barwon Heads Arts Council.  This new, architecturally designed building includes 2 meeting rooms, a gallery / exhibition space and a makers shed.   The Arts Hub spaces are available for hire for arts and community use.  To view the current program go to What’s On

Spaces for Hire & Fees

Hiring the Hub – What you need to know:

The Arts Hub is available for exhibitions, arts and community use such as workshops and meetings. If you have some dates in mind for your event, or would like a tour of the space, please get in touch with us to check availability via admin@bhac.org.au

To hire the venue, once your dates have been confirmed,  please complete our Venue Hire Agreement  provide your Public Liability Insurance and pay your invoice.

Public Liability Insurance:

For Businesses – please supply your Certificate of Currency to admin@bhac.org.au 

For One off Hirers (non arts related) – Submit this form for Public Liability Insurance from the City of Geelong for $25 per event.

For Arts Hirers needing insurance, we suggest contacting Duck for Cover for a quote.

Barwon Heads Arts Council members, contact us to discuss your event and if it is eligible for auspiced insurance cover.  Find more membership information here and support the Barwon Heads Arts Council!

The fees charged for the hiring the space contribute to the operating costs of the venue and keeping the space available to the community. The Barwon Heads Arts Hub does not receive any operational funding and is managed by a committee of art loving volunteers. Please note, the we cannot accept hirer bookings for parties.

Patron Numbers

The Arts Hub’s planning permit specifies maximum patron numbers  up to 100 (8am-6pm) and maximum patron numbers up to 50 (6pm-10pm).   The Barwon Heads Arts Council is permitted to have patrons up to 100 in the evenings (6-10pm) 12 times per year.   If you would like to hire the Arts Hub in the evenings and have projected patron numbers over 50 please discuss with the Booking Coordinator: 0457263 455

Available Hire Hours

The Arts Hub has an ongoing program of activities and events.  Hire is subject to availability.  Permitted use Mon-Sat 8am-10pm, Sundays 8am-6pm.
