A Creative Workshop with local artist Patsy Bush
Artists’ Books are often created to showcase art which is interactive, portable, movable and easily shared. Many artists’ books challenge the conventional book format and become sculptural objects. Artists’ books can be scrolls, fold-outs, concertinas or loose items contained in a box.
Participants will:
*Create interesting pages using a variety of materials
(paints, prints and more…). These pages will be turned into small Artists’ books
*Books can be made as gifts or personal artworks
Cost $55 (BHAC members) $65 (non members). Limit 10 people.

You will make at least 5 different completed books
You will need to bring the following:
• 2 different colours of acrylic paint (not black or white)
• Paper towel or old rags
• Art smock, apron or some sort of protective clothing
• Water container
• 2 flat brushes: 2 – 4 centimetres wide
• 3 plates for mixing paint (disposable plastic ones are good)
• Lunch, snack.
Patsy will provide extra materials, paint, paper.
