Bellarine Arts Trail – Postponed to 2021
October 30 @ 10:00 am - October 31 @ 4:00 pm| Free
BAT 2020 is postponed to 2021. There is too much organisation required now to risk a later postponement so the decision is to postpone to the 2021 Melbourne Cup long weekend (30 October – 31 October 2021). More details under a News item.
BAT is a fabulous opportunity for local art lovers and visitors to the region to pick up a BAT map and follow directions to up to 40 venues across four towns: Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff. Artists from the whole of the Bellarine are invited to participate in group venues in one of the four towns.
Karen Shirley and the team from BHAC will start work on planning this event early to mid 2021, when a callout to artists will be made via local print media and online. Artists will have four weeks to get their nominations in.
BAT is made possible through support from Arts and Culture Department, City of Greater Geelong and the Borough of Queenscliff Council. The event is free for visitors. All information, and maps will be available on this website as planning progresses throughout the year.
Information for Artists – artists who have participated in the past will be notified by email when the registration process commences in June 2021. New to BAT artists are very welcome to make contact with organisers at any time and will be added to the email database. Link to Contact page.
