Introduction to Film Photography – 2 sessions

Join Anita Beaney for an informal workshop which introduces film photography and covers loading the film into the camera, film types and speed, measuring light, camera settings and more!

The first session includes an hour at the Arts Hub followed by an hour outside taking photos.

The second session involves viewing and assessing the processed film & scans.

BYO your camera.  Contact Anita directly if you need access to a camera for the workshop

Film will be supplied. Processing & scanning will be completed and given back for the follow up session.

Where: Barwon Heads Art Hub, 5 Clifford Parade, Barwon Heads.

Anita Beaney Artist’s Statement/ Bio

Anita is a freelance commercial photographer based in Geelong, specialising in fashion and product photography. Her clients include Rip Curl Australia, Ena Pelly and XTM Mountain wear.

She has a parallel arts practice. She uses a medium format film camera to capture sea and land scapes. Anita has also has an affinity with people and has been twice short-listed for the National Photographic Portrait Prize at The National Portrait Gallery in Canberra.
