| $180Join award-winning artist, animator, and sessional lecturer at Sydney’s National Art School, Todd Fuller, for a drawing workshop. Working with the figure, artists will learn techniques for approaching dynamic human forms, breathing life into the subject to achieve expressive, gestural results. You will explore foundational skills and experimental techniques for mark-making, interpretation and lyricism to get the most out of your drawing.
This workshop caters to both beginners and individuals with prior experience who are looking to enhance their skills and deepen their practice.
Todd Fuller’s practice blends sculpture, moving image, performance, and painting. Central to his work is an intimate love for the drawing medium and a firm belief in its ability to connect, engage, and captivate diverse audiences. Fuller’s hand-drawn animations have been exhibited internationally, he has undertaken numerous international residencies, and his drawings have won multiple prizes, including the Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award, Sunshine Coast National Art Prize, Fisher’s Ghost Contemporary Award, M16 Digital Drawing Prize and the Lloyd Rees Memorial Award. Todd has taught drawing and animation across Australia and regularly teaches with the National Art School and Sydney Opera House.
